Vancouver, BC – September 05, 2016: YDreams Global. (YD – TSX.V) (“YDreams Global” or the “Company”) YDreams Global is pleased to share a summary of its latest projects and accomplishment since completing the RTO with Apple Inc, two months prior.
The Company would like to inform its shareholders that the plan developed before the RTO is being followed and major advances have been made to establish a network for both product and projects sales in North America. Negotiations with North American business groups are underway, aiming to raise the potential for a rapid growth of the Company in the US and Canada.
The first two months after completing the RTO were very productive, starting in early July, exactly one month before the Olympic Games started, the Company’s biggest project was inaugurated by the Mayor of Rio de Janeiro and the Brazilian Minister of Sports. The project called Olympic City Museum, was visited by thousands of people during the Rio 2016 Olympic Games and will be the official memorial museum to tell this great story through interactive experiences created by YDreams Global. This project alone earned YDreams Global very significant revenues, and represents a good example of the type of projects the Company is aiming to undertake in North America.
Simultaneously another important project was released, the Cisco Legacy project, that started to be developed in 2015, and included 3 mobile apps for the citizens of Rio. The solutions use Cisco´s technology to collect Urban Data in real time and have a key role on creating a Smart, Connected and Human Neighborhood in Rio´s remodeled port area. The project also included a Street Kiosk, interactive Virtual Reality experience, an augmented reality solution and a Big Data Visualization panel inside Tomorrow´s Museum, the port´s main attraction.
YDreams Global also developed solutions for the Official House of France, during the Olympic Games, using Augmented Reality to help spread the word for the campaign to havethe City of Paris host the games. Another project was a photo booth for Nike, during a soccer event for young athletes.
August was a very busy month as well, with the 10th edition of YDreams Global interactive exhibition in redgards to the legendary Ayrton Senna F1 pilot. The new edition was visited by over 130,000people, which broke records and brought the next city interested on hosting the exhibition.
Also in August, YDreams Global launched their first line of technological retail products named SKUP at the Latam Retail Show 2016, which is the largest fair in Latin America for retail, e-commerce, franchising and shopping centers. The goal is to start a sales program for stores in the United States and Canada before the end of 2016. A website was launched as a sales channel and can be seen at www.ydreamsglobal.com/skup.
During the same month, YDreams Global offered a virtual reality tour in the Amazon Forest for Natura, Latin America´s most important cosmetic brand, during the sustainability weekend in São Paulo. The immersive experience named “Natura brings the Amazon Forest to you”, is YDreams´ first assignment with Natura. Its teaser 360o video, released by the brand on its Facebook page, was viewed by approximately half million people, becoming their most successful post.
On the “Projects Under Development” category, a new interactive exhibition for the world renowned architect Oscar Niemeyer, who died in 2012 at the age of 104 years old, started production. The exhibition will take place at the museum created to honor the famous architect. Also under development are the solutions to a new aquarium for the city of Rio. Named AquaRio, it will be the largest aquarium in South America, and will have several digital experiences by YDreams Global. Inauguration is set to be in November 2016. YDreams Global is also proud to announce that its first project in Canada will be released soon: a Virtual Reality experience to the Secova Gold Mine group is being developed.
“This first two months after being listed were of great value to plan the road ahead. Several initiatives are taking place and bringing YDreams Global closer to our target, which is of creating products and solutions with potential for exponential sales growth. As we strengthen our presence in North America, we will see the positive results.” – Daniel Japiassu, CEO of YDreams Global.
